Falcetti has worked in the nuclear industry for more than 20 years. In addition to working a "9-5." Falcetti co-founded the Oswego Boxing Club in 2013 with his childhood best friend. The club remains in operation in Oswego, NY after rebranding to OBC Athletics!

In 2025, Falcetti and his family opened Mendzetti's Sports Bar - a sports themed bar that serves incredible pizza and bar food. The establishment was previously known as Gary's Sports Bar.

Seeing my son work hard is a reward I can’t even put into words.

I don’t make him compete. I don’t force him into the ring. That choice will always be his.

But as his father, it’s my responsibility to prepare him.

I want him to know how to defend himself.
I want him to understand that the world isn’t always kind.
I want him ready — physically, mentally, emotionally — for whatever comes his way.

Boxing isn’t just about punches. It’s about discipline. Respect. Confidence. Composure under pressure.

More importantly, I want him ready to make a difference.
To stand up for himself.
To stand up for others.
To lead.

In this worldr, strength matters.
But character matters more.

And watching him build both… that’s the real victory. 🥊

And let me say this clearly —
Not interested in being an entrepreneur? That’s okay!
It’s not for everyone.

There’s nothing wrong with working a 9–5 and building a stable life. But if you have bigger goals… if you want more… if you feel called to build something of your own — you need to know the truth.

Entrepreneurship will test you.

Late nights.
Early mornings.
Missed events.
Sacrifices people don’t see.

You’ll question your effectiveness.
You’ll wonder if you’re cut out for it.
Some challenges will hit you in ways you didn’t expect.

I’m just getting started — and even now, there are moments that make me evaluate everything.

Here’s what I’ve learned:

Decide if it is worth it before you start!

🔹 Prioritize what truly matters.
If an event is important, go and be fully present. But don’t get lost saying yes to things that don’t align with your mission.

🔹 Write your goals Create an action list. Execute. Hold yourself accountable. Success isn’t accidental — it’s tracked.

🔹 Delegate when appropriate.
You can’t do it all yourself. Build people. Trust people. Multiply your impact.

🔹 When you feel like quitting — that’s the moment to lean in and work harder!

Friday nights are for sparring. 🥊

This isn’t all that I do — but it’s what I love to do.

There’s something different about being in the gym on a Friday night. While most people are winding down, we’re lacing up gloves, sharpening skills, and pushing each other to grow. Not because we have to… but because we want to.

When you find something you truly love, don’t keep it to yourself. Share it. Teach it. Pour into other people with it.

The real reward isn’t the rounds.
It’s not the sweat.
It’s not even the wins.

It’s watching someone who once doubted themselves move with confidence.
It’s seeing a young fighter get sharper, stronger, more disciplined.
It’s watching growth happen right in front of you.

That’s the return on investment.

Find what you love.
Build it.
Share it.
And watch what happens.

We’ve built something special — and we’re not done.

There are many more victories ahead, in and out of the ring.

As a leader and a business owner, one thing never lies: your KPIs.
Feelings don’t scale. Numbers do.

If you own a business, decide what metrics matter and track them relentlessly.
For example…….Sales.
Daily. Weekly. Monthly.

Then ask yourself the real question:
What actions can I take to increase them—especially during the lulls?

Drive those actions to get results!

Set goals and crush them!

Champions don’t guess.
They measure, adjust, and execute.

Work the plan. Track the results. Win consistently. 💥📈

One of the best moves I’ve made is dedicating a creative workspace for the extra projects.

I’m not great at working from home — too many distractions, too comfortable, too many reasons to put things off. Having a separate space flipped a switch for me. When I’m there, it’s go time.

If you have the opportunity to create a dedicated workspace, do it sooner rather than later.
Your focus will sharpen and your productivity will skyrocket.

Environment matters more than people realize!

We’ve been training this kid since he was 7 years old.

When we first met him, we thought we were in for some serious trouble.
His mom brought him to the gym after the tragic loss of his father—looking for structure, discipline, and somewhere he could belong.

Little did we know that day one was just the beginning of something special.

Fast forward to today:
• Two-time Golden Gloves Champion
• Multiple businesses built
• And a bond that can’t be broken

The weekend is here.
What are you doing to get ahead?

It’s no secret—working our normal job just isn’t enough anymore. Whether you’re grinding a second job, building a business, sharpening your craft, or taking time to recover and reset… enjoy it and own it.

This weekend I’ll be:
• Recording and posting more content
• Making efficient, beneficial program updates at the gym
• Working to expand the bar
• Laying the groundwork for a new venture I’m excited to share soon 👀

Most importantly - quality time with the family to watch the Super Bowl!

Not just coaching a fighter — coaching my son.
Teaching discipline, focus, and respect for the sport while he sharpens his skills one punch at a time.

The world can be a cold place.
Knowing he can defend himself — physically and mentally — gives me peace as a father.
Boxing teaches awareness, confidence, and the ability to stand his ground when life tests him. AND, one thing that is certain - I’ll always be in his corner

Boxing isn’t just about punches.
It’s about character, consistency, and being prepared for whatever comes his way.

Proud of the work he’s putting in.

At the end of 2021, I had plans to launch a podcast.
Turns out… I’m camera shy 😅 and I didn’t realize it at the time!

Somewhere along the way, I got off track.
I lost accountability.
I let a few “priorities” get in the way of the priorities.

No excuses—just awareness.

The good news?
Awareness creates change.

Getting ready for Summertime Showdown (OBC)

There’s a few things I’m proud of and one of them is the incredible team we have at OBC Athletics! I hope you can make the event on this Saturday!

Have to give a shout out to George Schroeder! One of the things he does best is teach these young men how to fish! Slow night on the river but we had fun and caught a few!

We had a custom charcuterie board made by Azalia Avery of Azaliacreations. The presentation was a 10/10! There was a great variety and it was delicious.

This is perfect for special events like weddings, graduation parties or small gatherings with family and friends!

Fitzhugh Park put on a great assembly today. Proud to see my little girl get an award!

Working to understand and educate myself on some of the things we can do to identify and resolve violence and bullying around us. The course is simple, informative and makes you think. It cost $40 at the completion of the modules.

After being engaged for nearly two decades, we decided to make it official. On 5/17, we made it official while in Oklahoma for the Golden Gloves Nationals boxing event!

While it may seem completely random, it sure was! We decided a long time ago that we weren’t putting on a show and we were doing it for us when we find the right time. This trip happened to be the time.

We were joined by our witnesses, Jorge Delgado and Andre Mendez!

We stopped by Wade's Diner for breakfast and took over the bar! The service was outstanding and the food was great as always!

As we were walking out the door, I had a couple nice ladies compliment how well behaved the kids were and they even gave me the thumbs up! Those comments always mean the most.

The best part was, cell phones and iPads were put down and we were in the moment!
